Molly makes her mark

Congratulations to our graduate engineer Molly McMaster on taking out the Highly Commended prize for ‘Most Promising Trainee Civil Engineer’ in the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Awards from a record number of entries.

In presenting the award, David Allen, Executive Director of CECA (Southern) said:

“Molly is an academically gifted young engineer able to harness the challenges she encounters in an effective and pragmatic manner, leading by example and acting as a pathfinder for those that will follow her.

“Through her determination and commitment to both learn and develop across a number of disciplines, she is making a real difference to the various projects that she has already engaged in during her short career.

“Molly understands that this industry, although technically focused, revolves around its people and she proactively engages with those in the team to keep herself up to date, and to also help others better understand the tasks in hand.”

Molly has been a member of the South West Foundations Group and is also a growing presence in the CECA Southern NextGen Foundations Group.
